What’s this about?
Education opens doors that change lives — and with the Jeremy White Educational Scholarship, N. Finite Hands Charity is committed to keeping those doors open for generations to come. Announced at our 10th Annual Joy of Giving Event, this long-term initiative pledges $20,000 over the next 20 years toward academic advancement through scholarships and sponsorships.
Named in honor of Jeremy White, one of our founding members and a dedicated educator in the Chicago Public School system, this scholarship celebrates a leader who continues to make a difference both within our organization and in classrooms every day. While many programs are named posthumously, we chose to recognize Jeremy’s impact in real time — honoring his ongoing commitment to uplifting youth, championing education, and inspiring future generations.
The scholarship supports advancement courses, ACT/SAT prep, and higher-education opportunities for driven students across our communities. In its inaugural year, we proudly partnered with ACT-SO to sponsor test preparation for 15 students, helping them sharpen their skills and strengthen their confidence for college success. This program is both a tribute and a call to action — reflecting Jeremy’s lifelong belief that every student deserves access, opportunity, and encouragement to reach their fullest potential.
